The Deer Larder System This page gives some brief details of the new system being implemented for Forest Enterprise in the North of Scotland.
The operator enters up to 21 different parameters then prints a tag which is attached to the animal, and another which is attached to the pluck. As we are running in terminal mode, there is continued user prompting and full preview and amend facilities to reduce the possibility of any errors. An example of the tag is as follows:-
At the end of the week, the following report is take out and Faxed to the area office. This will be superceded, in due course, by the sending of a CSV file by Email.
